[ Plenum Cables - 80°C to 200°C ]

(UL) approved Plenum cables are specifically manufactured and installed in plenum spaces of a commercial building. A plenum space is located in between floors typically designed to circulate air for heating and air conditioning. In many cases the buildings communication, telephone and signal cables are stored in these areas. In order to be approved for plenum use, the cable must pass the following flame tests and be insulated with compounds that are flame retardant and low smoke.

• NFPA 262 Flame tests / (UL) 910 / FT 6
